Ryan Camp is the inspiration behind Ryan’s Mission. An outgoing young man whose resilience, independence, and dedication to community set the standard for what true inclusion looks like.
Ryan’s Journey
Ryan lives independently and has long been a valued member of his local community. Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and right hemiplegic cerebral palsy resulting from a stroke at birth, he has never let these challenges define him. Instead, Ryan’s journey highlights his resilience, independence, and ability to thrive when supported by purpose and connection. His experiences show that inclusion not only empowers individuals but also strengthens the entire community.
Accomplishments & Experience
Long-Term Employment:
Ryan successfully held steady employment for several years, earning respect for his reliability, attention to detail, and warm personality.
Community Involvement:
Ryan has participated in local programs, workshops, and social enterprises, modeling inclusion and teamwork for peers.
Leadership by Example:
Ryan’s dedication to friendships and community service makes him a role model for young adults with disabilities and their families.

Ryan’s dedication to inclusion and community service has been recognized by local organizations and programs that celebrate his impact. He has been featured in community spotlights for his positive contributions and is a recipient of staff recognition awards honoring his outstanding reliability and support of peers in the workplace.
Athletic Achievements
In addition to his community and professional accomplishments, Ryan has been an active athlete, participating in both basketball and swim team programs. Through sports, he developed teamwork, discipline, and confidence while building strong friendships with teammates. His achievements on the court and in the pool reflect the same determination and positive spirit he brings to every area of his life.
Education
Ryan is committed to lifelong learning and skill building. He recently completed the Career and Workplace Readiness program (HBM-51) at Fresno Pacific University in September 2025, further strengthening his independence and professional abilities. He also holds a California Food Handlers Certification from Premier Food Safety and earned his high school certificate from Atascadero High School, Class of 2005.
Ryan’s Vision
As Ryan looks to the future, his goal is to help create spaces where everyone feels they belong. Through Ryan’s Mission, he hopes to give others the same opportunities he has embraced: to work, to connect, and to thrive in a supportive, inclusive community.
